Hi! I'm Julia, a passionate 2D Artist with a great sense for visual design ✨

My goal is to work together with other creative minds, on bigger projects, than I would be able to achieve on my own.

Like so many artists I already picked up pencils in my childhood, but during high school I finally decided to follow my hobby professionally. I am a big fan of comic and cartoons such as Cartoon Networks Steven Universe and the Netflix Original Show Hilda. They are my biggest source of Inspiration.

After my studies at the SRH Hochschule Heidelberg (Faculty of Information, Media & Design) I worked as a freelancer, being part of projects like the boardgame Loot Your Brain and the two picture books Become and Monty and the Spotlight.

Currently I am a 2D Artist at ILI.DIGITAL AG, creating Illustrations, UI and Graphic Design.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Since February 2023 I create purposeful illustrations across projects and I develop marketing designs mainly for social media platforms. I am primarily responsible in shaping the visual identity of our social media presence. Layout design is also a main focus of my responsibilities.

Freelance Illustrator

2021-2022 I worked for microphant creating illustrations and layout concepts for the boardgame Loot Your Brain

2020-2022 I worked as a illustrator for foxfont, creating two picturebooks: BecoME and Monty and the Spotlight

since 2017 working with private clients creating portraits and character commissions

Social Media Marketing @Pittsballoon

2018-2020 As a visual designer and strategist, I created the social media plan for the company, as well as produced content across platforms.

2015-2018 I have obtained my Bachelor of Science in Virtual Realities - Game Development. mainly concentrating on illustration, concept art and design
